Round up of latest results

Servej of Germany landed the Sunday Million. As Kristen Bihr reported he was no big stack when he arrived at the final table, but took only a few hands to change that, swinging the proverbial wrecking ball around until the first prize of $173,668 was in his hands.

Meanwhile over in the Warm-Up Elay99 was doing the same, dodging the likes of Mario "Pokerccini" Puccini and Shyam "G's zee" Srinivasan on his way to the title and a first prize of $64,169. David Aydt has the full report, which you can read here.

Here are all of those results in full:

PCA 2015 Main Event, Episode 6

Sunday Million: Servej smashes through final table, collects $173k

Although Servej did not arrive at the final table with a wrecking ball-sized stack, he certainly made the deepest impact. Second in chips to start, Servej took out ZeroG85 on the fourth hand and followed it up with two more rapid-fire knockouts to take a substantial lead over the rest of the field. It wasn't always pretty and he wasn't always a favorite, but Servej managed to knock out six opponents before getting heads-up with EspenasApart for the title. EspenasApart was nearly a 2 to 1 chip dog to start heads-up play, but pulled nearly even with Servej, before he found fifth gear again. Servej made one final surge and his seventh final table KO, finding pocket kings to eliminate EspenasApart and capture his first Sunday Million title.

This week's Million drew 5,552 runners, resulting in a $1,110,400 prize pool. 810 players earned a share of it with $173,668.99 set aside for first place.

The blinds were up to 125,000/250,000 with ten players remaining. Poker4F was the short stack with 1.8 million and when he found [Ac][9h] under the gun, he moved all-in. Servej reshoved for 7.8 million to isolate and turned over [Qs][Qd]. Servej's pocket queens held up on the [9s][7h][3c][2s][6h] board and Poker4F went out on the final table bubble.

Final table chip counts

Seat 1: EspenasApart (11,069,785 in chips)
Seat 2: 42ayay (6,821,333 in chips)
Seat 3: donvito1st (3,623,333 in chips)
Seat 4: Servej (10,110,028 in chips)
Seat 5: Pendall (4,686,909 in chips)
Seat 6: iTSReTSaM (3,802,836 in chips)
Seat 7: ZeroG85 (2,075,576 in chips)
Seat 8: GET IN LlNE (7,349,568 in chips)
Seat 9: aviarava (5,980,632 in chips)

The final table lost its first player four hands in when Servej opened for a min-raise to 500,000 and ZeroG85 moved all-in for 1.6 million. Servej called, his [Ad][Qs] dominating ZeroG85's [Ac][9c]. No miracles happened on the [As][Kc][2h][6s][Ts] board and ZeroG85 hit the rail in ninth place.

Servej moved into the chip lead with 11 million on that hand and took full advantage of his position. Only a few hands later, the action folded to Servej in the cutoff and he moved all-in for 11.52 million with [2h][2d]. ITSReTSaM called from the small blind with [Ah][Qs] and was in a race for his tournament life. However, Servej's baby pair held up on the [Td][7d][7c][8s][5h] board and he moved up to 16.65 million in chips while iTSReTSaM exited in eighth place.

With the blinds up to 150,000/300,000, donvito1st open-shoved for 3.89 million with [Td][Tc] only to have Servej three-bet to 7.48 million from the small blind. Much to donvito1st's dismay, Servej turned over [Jc][Jh] and the [9d][7s][2s][4c][3h] board didn't do anything to change his fortune. Donvito1st went out in seventh place and Servej the wrecking ball claimed his third KO of the final table, his stack up to 23.3 million.

Servej's run didn't stop there. Early in the 200,000/400,000 level 42ayay open-shoved for 3.63 million and Servej three-bet to 6.85 million from the small blind. 42ayay turned up [Jh][Tc] while Servej revealed [Ah][7h]. An ace on the flop and aces up on the turn gave Servej the pot and 42ayay departed in sixth place.

Four hands later, someone else finally had a turn at a knockout. Aviarava moved in for his last 2.47 million and second-in-chips EspenasApart reshoved for 13.3 million from the small blind. EspenasApart's [Qh][Qs] crushed aviarava's [Td][Tc] with a flush on the turn and he had to settle for fifth place. Then, two hands later, Servej was back in action with a button shove for 32.5 million. GET IN LINE called all-in from the big blind, his [Ad][9d] in good shape vs. Servej's [Qc][3c]. GET IN LINE kept his lead on the [Js][Tc][5h] flop but Servej hit bottom pair when the [3s] turned. The [Qh] river made Servej queens up and GET IN LINE went out in fourth place as Servej made his fifth final table knockout.

As three-handed play commenced, Servej was the runaway chip leader with 37.2 million, EspenasApart was second with 16.3 million and Pendall had less than five big blinds with 1.94 million. However, three-handed play didn't last for long. Two hands later, Servej made a small blind shove and Pendall called all-in with [9h][Th]. Servej turned up [Kh][2c] and made top pair on the [Ks][Qc][6d][Tc][3c] board, ending Pendall's run in third place.

Heads-up chip counts

Seat 1: EspenasApart (16,061,417 in chips)
Seat 4: Servej (39,458,583 in chips)

The subject of a heads-up deal was briefly broached, but with Servej unwilling to give up anything from a chip chop deal, EspenasApart didn't see the point in going through the motions.

Servej: 44k hu u sure?
EspenasApart: u willing to give up anything?
Servej: chip/chop
EspenasApart: hehe. no ty. gl

Vastly outchipped, EspenasApart went to work and limped in to see a [8h][6c][5s] flop. Servej checked, EspenasApart bet 400,000, and Servej called. The turn came the [Th] and Servej checked again to EspenasApart, who bet 1,000,000. Servej raised to 2.4 million and EspenasApart smooth-caled. The river was the [Ts] and Servej checked a third time. EspenasApart bet 2,138,400 and Servej called, only to watch EspenasApart roll over [8d][Td] for tens full. EspenasApart raked in the 10.75 million pot, and four hands later, got three streets of value when he flopped top pair and rivered trip eights. EspenasApart moved up to 24.4 million while Servej slipped to 31.1 million.

On the very next deal, Servej made it 800,000 to go and EspenasApart three-bet to 2.45 million. Servej called and they saw a [Kd][8d][4s] flop. EspenasApart led out for 2.08 million and Servej called. The turn was the [As] and EspenasApart checked to Servej, who bet 3.2 million. EspenasApart gave up his hand and Servej took down the 9.14 million pot.

Servej pushed his chip count over 43 million a few hands later when he fired every street of a [Jc][8h][6c][3d][5h] board and EspenasApart called him down. Servej turned up [Jd][6s] for jacks up on the flop and he left EspenasApart on 11.7 million in chips.

Try as he may, EspenasApart couldn't make anything happen and after Servej limped in on the button, EspenasApart moved in for 8.4 million with [Ac][4d]. Servej snap-called, lying in wait with [Kh][Ks]. Servej's pocket kings held up on the [Qc][Qs][3h][2c][4s] board and he locked up his first Sunday Million win.

Congratulations to Germany's Servej on joining the ranks of Sunday Million champions! He banked $173,668.99 for the win, while runner-up EspenasApart earned $129,361.60.

Sunday Warm-Up: Elation for Elay99 winning $64K after three-way chop

As many times before, the players who have been to this or any Major final table at PokerStars tend to show up multiple times and improve with the subsequent tournaments. The $400,000 guarantee Sunday Warm-Up final table would feature players who have WCOOP bracelets, EPT final tables, and have been at this weekly Major's final table before. LoneHixx, vladxxxro, and Elay99 chopped three ways but Elay99 came away with the win earning $64,169.59.

Keep reading below for Elay99's path to the Sunday Warm-Up title.

Nearing the ninth hourly break, a big three-way preflop all-in hand broke out between LoneHixx, bauruzito, and dan1lych with LoneHixx covering all bets. Bauruzito's kings [Kh][Kc] stood tall against LoneHixx's big slick [Ac][Ks], and dan1lych's [Qd][Ah]. However, the [9c] [Ts] [2s] [As] [2c] board had other ideas knocking out bauruzito in 15th place ($2,495.94) and dan1lych in 16th ($1,810.78).

That 2.6 million chip pot with blinds at 40K/80K ante 8K would help pad the former Super Tuesday champ's stack as 13 players made it to the last break before the final table.

Third hand back from the break vladxxxro was itching to make a third Sunday Warm-Up final table appearance. With DeBoLa89 all-in, vladxxxro and MaRyJoAnNa00 played through the [4h] [3c] [7d] [8c] [Kc] board and went check-check after the third club hit. Vladxxxro showed the flopped pair of sevens [Ac][7s] but MaRyJoAnNa00's flopped set [3s][3d] left DeBoLa89 mucking in 13th place ($2,495.94).

While vladxxxro lost a few chips, the Romanian will be looking to improve on a fourth place finish ($30K) and eighth place finish ($13K) on back-to-back weekends in March.

After MicroMillions champ DIAS18 left in 12th place ($3,181.10), and newly minted WCOOP champ William "hellzito" Arruda left in 11th place ($3,181.10), all eyes watched Malaka$tyle try to make a comeback. Malaka$tyle would be left with 9,481 chips after running into Pokerccini's quad kings but managed to win the next two all-ins. LoneHixx was not in the giving mood, eliminating Malaka$tyle with pocket jacks on the third hand thus starting up the final table below:

SundayWarmUp_101115.jpg

Seat 1: Shyam "G's zee" Srinivasan (2749935 in chips)
Seat 2: Elay99 (2999290 in chips)
Seat 3: LuckeLogan (2609770 in chips)
Seat 4: LoneHixx (1886411 in chips)
Seat 5: MaRyJoAnNa00 (4631014 in chips)
Seat 6: Mario "Pokerccini" Puccini (1868164 in chips)
Seat 7: vladxxxro (4227258 in chips)
Seat 8: marlin5555 (2493671 in chips)
Seat 9: williams46 (1004487 in chips)

Arruda was not the only WCOOP champ to go deep as WCOOP 2014 Event #52 winner Shyam "G's zee" Srinivasan looked to add another Major title to his list of accomplishments. Just 12 hands into the final table he would catch a huge break while capturing a 3.3 million chip pot. Pokerccini showed [Ks][Ad] as Srinivasan turned up the dominated [Ah][Qd]. The king on the river actually helped Shyam to the win, completing a broadway straight [Jd] [6h] [Td] [3h] [Kd] and eliminating Pokerccini in ninth place ($4,159.90). Like Shyam, Mario "Pokerccini" Puccini also has some solid live scores as well, making the final table at the EPT Berlin in 2012 winning $287,612 in fourth place.

Puccini_SundayWarm.jpg

Mario "Pokerccini" Puccini - ninth place $4,159.90

Shortly after MaRyJoAnNa00 knocked off shortstacked william46 in eighth place ($7,096.30), two more players would be forced to watch from the sidelines.

With the blinds up to 100K/200K ante 20K MaRyJoAnNa00 would lead with a min-raise as marlin5555 shoved for 2.01 million. LuckeLogan covered and called from the small blind as MaRyJoAnNa00 took some time off by folding. LuckeLogan's big slick [Ac][Kd] had no issues taking down marlin5555's [As][Ts] on the spade-less [3d] [Jh] [Kc] [5h] [9h] board, shipping $11,990.30 to marlin5555 in seventh place.

Four minutes later Shyam "G's zee" Srinivasan took a few chip hits during the hour and found a spot to shove 1.85 million from the button. Elay99 was happy to re-shove for four million holding [Ad][Qh]. The suited [Kc][2c] found a turned flush draw [Jc] [Ah] [4s] [5c] [2s] but could not complete it, ending Srinivasan's tournament in sixth place ($16,884.30).

GZee_SundayWarm.jpg

Shyam "G's zee" Srinivasan - sixth place $16,884.30

Near the midway point of the tenth hour of play with the blinds moving up to 125K/250K ante 25K LuckeLogan led for a min-raise from the hijack seat as LoneHixx three-bet to 1.23 million. MaRyJoAnNa00 called all-in for a little less as LuckeLogan stuck around and also called. LoneHixx would follow-through with a 1.3 million chip bet as LuckeLogan decided that was too much and folded. MaRyJoAnNa00's [Kh][Qd] missed the [5h] [Jh] [8d] [4d] [3s] board as LoneHixx's [8s][Ac] was enough to send MaRyJoAnNa00 out in fifth place ($21,778.30).

That was not enough to get chop talks in place as one player's query went unanswered.

Six hands later with the blinds moving up to 150K/300K ante 30K LuckeLogan and LoneHixx would battle again. This time it was for keeps as LuckeLogan's [As][3s] would be all-in preflop against LoneHixx's pocket sixes [6h][6c]. The nine-high board [9c] [5s] [7d] [8h] [7c] left LuckeLogan out in fourth place ($28,629.90).

Despite holding the shortest stack, vladxxxro advised LoneHixx and Elay99 either deal now, or no deal HUs as vladxxxro proclaimed to enjoy the one-on-one battles. After both vladxxxro and Elay99 slid $500 more from the original numbers to LoneHixx, the deal below locked up the majority of the cash leaving $8K aside for the weekly champ.

LoneHixx: $58,807.93
Elay99: $56,169.59
vladxxxro: $54,024.21

LoneHixx made off like a bandit as three minutes after the re-start, the chip leader would be out. Holding 5.5 million in chips, LoneHixx would call a min-raise by Elay99 to see a [6h][5c][9c] flop. LoneHixx called the flop and turn [Ah] bets as Elay99 shoved after the [Td] river. Once again LoneHixx called showing the flopped top pair [9d][Jc] but Elay99 turned a higher one [Qc][Ad] sending LoneHixx away with $58,807.93 in third place.

Vladxxxro did improve on previous two finishes here, got to heads-up play as planned, but Elay99 was too much to handle.

Twice vladxxxro would be one board away from finishing as the runner-up but the third time that became a reality. With the blinds up to 200K/400K ante 40K Elay99 shoved for 19.8 million as vladxxxro called all-in holding 4.12 million and [5h][Ac]. Elay99's queens [Qd][Qc] dodge the ace [Jh] [4s] [Jc] [Ts] [9s] becoming this week's Sunday Warm-Up champion and winning $64,169.59!

The UKIPT Super Series returns to London's Hippodrome

We've said this before but there's no harm in saying it again: the Hippodrome Casino in central London is a great place to play cards.

It's not just the quality of the poker room, complete with plush interior and top class dealers, it's the place itself - a former theatre where your celebration or commiseration drink at the bar takes place against a backdrop as dramatic as the West End shows that used to pack the place to the rafters.

Hippodrome_pokerstars_7oct15.jpgThe Hippodrome in Central London

It's why we like to keep the PokerStars Live room busy, and next week is no exception, with another UKIPT Super Series homepage event, starting on Wednesday.

Running from Wednesday to Sunday (14 to 18 October), the UKIPT Super Series features a £500 + £50 Main Event, as well as a £1,500 + £150 High Roller. Not only that we're introducing a Women's Event for the first time ever at a UKIPT Series event, with a £150 + £15 buy-in. Some might say that's a small addition, but some of us prefer to take that to mean there's a small place in the history books up for grabs.

If previous events are anything to go by Series events are a perfect place to play competitive poker, in a great poker room, for some great prizes. What's more the Main event has three flights. If it doesn't go well the first time you can play the second one (and the third if necessary), with players allowed to enter up to three times.

And if you'd rather go a slightly more affordable route there are satellites running on PokerStars, starting at as little as £1, details of which you can find in the PokerStars lobby.

It all takes place in the middle London in the Hippodrome in Leicester Square. Take the weekend to think about it but be ready for Wednesday. Find all the details you could possibly need on the UKIPT Super Series homepage. And if you need a PokerStars account to enter some of those satellites, you can sign up for one here.
