Making a bluff is much like having a sweet romance with a beautiful women, you need to woe the intended into submission with graceful and well timed storytelling of how perfect a play master you are and follow through with a flawless display of commitment and confidence until the end.

So make sure your story stacks up, play with confidence and remain committed!

Well it's clear this guy loves poker, anyone that can only get animated and smile because the cards have been dealt and not by the other players courtesy is there just for the game for sure. He loves having to stack his chips all the time and will push them in with everything from his elbows to his lunch time club sandwich because that’s part of the fun for him and will probably know the nosiest chip flares know to the modern world of poker like the "choking on the 10K chip that you threw in the air to catch in your teeth" & "stacking all your chips like the Eifel Tower and knocking them over with your head grabbing your mobile to take a picture" That aside he is astutely aware of his transcendence from the mere low levels of poker to the 4th & 5th order Zen like strategy of HOLY SH*T I GOT A MONSTER DRAW I'M ALL IN!!!!

I fold, probably with the best hand but against the draws that will be in his range it's not worth committing a big early stack to. Unless Ina & Elena are holding a truth or dare competition in the bar at the time including free beer which I will be Scotty Nguyen to " You call and it's all over baby!"

wow it's hot :) just 2 hours before the end of the competiton :)))) Thanks Wynford for your participation.

Mystery Hand 2.0 - Round 3

#Mystery55 @Advoghado I think the action you took is going to be a small value bet around 450 to try and induce a raise from a straight but to also price in the over pairs/over cards into a call :)

For me if I were playing the hand I like a slight overbet to the pot here but not a shove (just to keep it wierd), I think the most likely hand to be in there is the Ax straight at this point and based on the previous streets. I don't see us getting value from any other hand from a tight player as it is suspicious to min raise the flop on a not very scary board and check the turn. Does anyone raise give up nowadays? :) If the hand gets shown down a similar over the pot size bet later in the turny looks strong and a good bluffing tool. Our opponent can get away from over pairs and high cards so many times and maybe the Ax straight if he has Daniel Negreanu's good day hand reading skills but never a 6x straight regardless of the size of the bet I feel, so make it big big big to make up for all their negative value! If he has quads so be it, that's poker!

Mystery Hand 2.0 - Round 2

#Mystery55

@Advoghado I dont see anything to be scared of on that flop with the action so far and our hand being so strong I would expect again another flat call. Hand ranges for me based on player type with no raise PF is going to be wide. Raising makes us display a narrowed range of higher over cards to over pairs and we lose the bluff value that our opponents believe they may have with their pot steal, overs and draws. Someone holding the made straight hand is very small risk and we still have redraw value to a full house if it is the case.

I would call in this position if I were lucky enough to ever be in a big tourny! :)

#Mystery55

@Advoghado - Calls, I would raise to get the dead money in the pot! :)
