The WSOP Main Event final table is all set for Monday, November 10!  We've added more November Nine Moments featuring Billy Pappas, Will Tonking and Jorryt van Hoof, as well as the Van Hoof Bio and Poker Profile.

As usual, we have been following our members playing and cashing in events big and small all over the world. Congratulations to @Angelina Rich, who cashed in ACOP Event 2, @City of Dreams Casino,  @Christophe Bourdila who is a regular at @Casino Partouche de Forges les Eaux, @Scott Demoulin (US) who recently topped a field of 108 entrants at @ARIA Resort & Casino  and @Mick Stephens who ranks fifth on the @Star Casino leaderboard with 27 ITM, just ahead of another RankingHero member - @Tadas Galkus :)

Some of the events we followed on RankingHero in the past week were the 2014 partypoker WPT Merit Classic North Cyprus at the @Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino; another 100K super high roller at @ARIA Resort & Casino; and, of course, the @Barriere Poker Tour Lille, which was preceded by a fun promotional contest here on RankingHero, won by our own @Jason Matthieu. 

RankingHero is happy to welcome Campok  - the only social poker app with webcam - and our members have begun enjoying the application! The @European Poker Tour kicked off Season 11 at @Gran Casino de Barcelona with a record-breaking festival that brought together some of the biggest names in poker, as well as many newcomers and lucky online qualifiers. Champion of Poker Victoria Coren Mitchell Wins Favorite EPT Moment and is a favorite in the upcoming PokerListings Spirit of Poker Awards. Two of our favorite up and coming players are among the nominated in the Rising Star category: @Dominik Panka and @Sofia Lovgren.

This week RankingHero brought you several exclusive interviews: @Nicolas Levi spoke to @Sean Yu, who took our patch to the final table and all the way to 1st place in the inaugural #WPT500 $1 Million GTD; @Pedro Canali interviewed the amazing @Jon Finkel - recognized as one of the greatest players of Magic:The Gathering, but also a successful poker player, sports bettor, finance genius, and - we are so proud to say! - RankingHero member. Make sure you follow the #MTGpoker hashtag and MTG Poker page on RKH for future interviews and posts! In addition, @Bruno Fitoussi - one of the 'founding fathers' of poker in France is Dans le carré and talks about the past, present, and future of poker. Meanwhile, the Main Event played down to the #NovemberNine and #WSOP2014 players were leaving Las Vegas - find out how some of them said goodbye in the social media.

@Daniel Colman has been the talk of the poker community ever since he won $15 million in the Big One for One Drop and - after declining to talk to the media - shared his ambivalent feelings about the game in a forum post. However, this hasn't stopped him from scoring another 6-figure cash in a 100K #SuperHighRoller at the @ARIA Resort & Casino, which took him one place up - to fourth position - in the all-time US ranking.

Weekly RankingHero Highlights

This week we followed the inagural #WPT500 $1 Million Guaranteed at the @ARIA Resort & Casino and the Last Longer competition organized by RankingHero for our promotional U.S. launch. It was fantastic to see so many RankingHero members among the top 30 and our lucky patch worn by two players at the Final Table, including the eventual winner, Sean Yu. 

The WSOP reached its culmination with the Main Event and we looked at some former champions who survived Day1. None of them got very far and it was interesting to see how they were taking their defeat and making their goodbyes to Vegas and the WSOP. We are happy for the deep runs of our #vegashero @Maxence Dupont and RankingHero co-founder @Pedro Canali who both made the money finishing 224th and 141st, respectively!

The 'Colman debate' is still a hot topic and you can read his post on 2+2, as well as Daniel Negreanu's response.

Another star of poker came out with 'an answer to Colman's dilemma' and you can read about it in our article on Phillipp Gruissem and the Raising for Effective Giving charity program.

Elsewhere in Vegas, Douglas Polk won $1,648,350 at the @Bellagio and Italian Flaminio Malaguti continues his amazing collection of 1st places in live tournaments, with as many as 26 consecutive wins in 2014!

We are happy to welcome the many hundreds of players who joined us in the course of the week, among whom @Joe Nguyen @Matthew Damadeo @Barry Kruger @Elie Payan @Nadim Shabou and many,many others with hundreds of thousands $ worth of tournament ITM finishes!

This week France celebrated its second bracelet at WSOP 2014 and 16th in history, with Hugo Pinray's victory in the Monster Stack over a monstrous field of 7862, which earned him the biggest cash in 2014 in the French earnings ranking! 

It has been a truly big week for poker, marked by the Big One for One Drop and it's mind-blowing prizepool of $37,333,338. It resulted in major movements in the rankings - most notably in the cases of Daniel Negreanu and Daniel Colman, but also in the German and U.S. rankings. The biggest mover was socialite Rick Salomon, who shot up 2658 places in the U.S. earnings ranking. The winner, Daniel Colman, was naturally in the focus of attention though mainly with his decline to talk to the media, rather than with his amazing victory. Finally, don't miss the article on the terrible confrontation of AA vs AA - one of the most memorable hands in #OneDrop and #WSOP2014 !

Outside of the WSOP, one of the most exciting events this summer has started at the @ARIA Resort & Casino - the #WPT500 $1 Million Guaranteed, which will run from July 4th to July 9th. We are proud and happy to be a part of it and are offering a special Last Longer competition for certified RankingHero members during the Main Event. 

We are particularly happy to welcome @Derek Leforte @Christopher Perez and all of our new members joining us from the Aria in Vegas this week!

To finish on a sad note this week, the poker community has been mourning two if its own this past week - the young German player Johannes Strassman and Chad Brown, who lost his battle with cancer. May they rest in peace.
