#UnibetBubble #Decision4

4th decision:

This is a new hand.

A few minutes after the one you played previously. Now there are only 2 players to bust before the bubble.

The blinds are still 500/1000.

In UTG+1, a player who likes to see a lot of flops opens with 2.2BB. He has 30,000 chips in his stack.

UTG+2, with a 90BB stack, calls.

You have now 34BB. In the BB position, you call with J♦8♦.

FLOP:

10♠3♦Q♦

You check.

Villain UTG+1 bets 5,000 chips.

UTG+2 folds.

What do you do?

We hit the flop really hard with a gut shot and a flushdraw, usually I would check-raise all-in in this spot, however we are on the bubble and should proceed more cautiously.

So even though he is making a fairly big bet on the flop I would call with the assumption to win when the hand when I hit a 9 for a straight or a diamond for a flush, and we even have some implied odds that we can get his whole stack when we actually hit our outs if let's say he have an overpair and won't let go of it. If we don't hit our straight or flush on the turn and he bets big, we can just fold and still have a fine 26,8 BB stack to play with, but there is also the possibility that the turn will go check-check when we miss our draw, which gives us a free river to hit again which is great for us.
