Men Nguyen, a.k.a. The Master, got his nickname from tutoring players, many of whom have become successful. He has seven WSOP bracelets and has accumulated more than 3 million dollars in WSOP cashes. With his earnings, he donates to charities in Vietnam and in 1996 he built a kindergarten there.
Nguyen won the Card Player Magazine Player of the Year award in 1997, 2001, 2003 and 2005 and is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished tournament players in the world.
