1st ROUND:

I was playing the online satellite MPNPT Facebook at 32 Red Poker, the prize was tickets to the next stage. We were about an hour into the tournament, playing tight; at my table everyone was playing the same way.

What do you think I did? What would YOU have done?

I think that we are missing a lot of useful information . what was the buyin i.e is it a freeroll or highish buyin with lots of prizes or small buyin with a couple of tickets . How many entered , how many left in the tourney and how many tickets are available as all of this is going our affect our strategy.

  32red are on microgaming so i'm assuming that its going to be a smaller entry than if it was one of the bigger sites/networks like stars or ipoker.If there's only a couple of tickets we probably have to be going after chips to maximise our chance at winning the tickets . If theres quite a lot of tickets relative to the number left in the tournament then we could probably just pass on this hand and save our stack so that we can play in position and not hate virtually every flop that we see.

    As it is, the only info we have is that the whole table is playing tight  , and i'm going to assume that its only a couple of tickets available  so i'm going to raise 4bb, hopefully bb and eky both see it as a strong move and fold and it denies eky set mining odds against us. Folding to any reraises , and will reconsider flop depending on eky's reaction to my raise, snap calls or tanks etc.If both call the raise then its likely that i'll just try and check down out of position unlessflop gives me a big draw or set.
