Matt Huey @MatthewHuey
I prioritized his image of me + me giving off lil weakness, and less about how he had been playing and what hands he'd shove w/ that I beat.
Busted the Main Event in 319th for 33.7k. Called a 4-bet shove w/ JJ and was behind against KK. Kinda similar to hand I busted on last year.

On the last hand of the night I shoved for 60k and a nice man tank folded KK (he was ahead). So I feel pretty lucky going to Day 4 with 70k!

My WSOP Main Day 2 had it all: good plays and bad plays, run good and run bad. Ultimately my chip stack went backwards: 41k going to Day 3.

@1NatalieMaines @ikebarinholtz 1. Name of the camp Howard went to?2. What is the last name of his childhood friend Lou? I blanked w/o Google
Rare rainstorm going in Vegas. Perfect for a day off, but bad if you're at the Rio because everyone will pack inside like sardines on break.

Heading into Day 2 of the Main Event with 56k chips. Second best Day 2 stack ever for me (had 90k last year). I'll play again on Wednesday.

Inauspicious start to my WSOP Main Event as I drew an unenthused cashier who gave me an ill-coveted seat assignment outside Buzio restaurant

With a few exceptions (obv), the younger and more successful a poker player is, the less likely they are to say anything at a WSOP table.

Busted from #WSOP55 in 146th for $3,493. Third small cash of the summer in 10 events. My good luck seems to stop as soon as payouts begin .
