Jaime Staples Raided My Stream!

Here is my short story:

Two days ago I was casually streaming a SCOOP event on twitch.tv/mypokeracademy. At first I had no viewers so when the marker showed 4 people watching, I went to check who these people were. One name stood out: POKERSTAPLES. My initial reaction was: Huh? Must be a twitch glitch or something. *Refresh**Refresh**Refresh** and he was still there.

Me: "Oh my God guys Jaime Staples is watching my stream. What's up Jaime how's it going man?"

Next thing I know, I look over to the chat and he's posting his face emote in my chat, and BOOM, hundreds of peeps from Staple's Stable start raiding my chat!! Up to over 200+ viewers, the chat is going nuts & people are following! Man, that was cool. I was surprised, excited, shy, & pumped up, all at once! I go over to Jaime's stream and he's watching MY STREAM on his stream!!! I was like WHAT?? NO WAY!

For me, this is very cool! I realize I sound geeky saying this but this is awesome for someone who just started out on Twitch and is looking to grow his channel. Jaime Staples is a huge inspiration for me. He's a very humble guy, very good at poker, knows how to entertain the viewers, and is actually really good at what he does. When I noticed that we had a lot in common with regards to certain views on certain topics of life, and that he is also young and was recently a student (I still am), I became a full time fan and viewer of his awesome stream. I stopped watching all other streams just so I got to watch his. I am learning a lot from Jaime, which is very important since I am on a mission to improve my tournament game hoping to ship some wins and make it to EPT Prague in December.

I really hope I get to meet him soon as I think we could be great friends (hopefully) :D In the meantime, Twitch and Twitter will have to do.

I invite you to follow both our channels: twitch.tv/pokerstaples and twitch.tv/mypokeracademy as well as on Twitter (@JaimeStaples) and (@MyPokerAcademy).

Peace Out.
My name is Jonah. I am the poker Monsturrrrr.
