Alexandrov busts shoving from the small blind into K♠2♣Koops's big blind. Koops calls with A♠7♣and Alexandrov takes a payday of 17200 euros.

There are now just 7 players remaining playing for the top prize of 165000 euros.

Blinds are 200k/400k/40k, and it may or may not stay the same...

Some of the gathered railers are very grumpy about the lack of any video footage/feature table screen display/hand commentary. Basically, they can't see/hear what is going on.

It is a bit odd that there has been no feature table/live stream for this event. I would expect to see this at an event of this prestige/buyin.

As my new friend, John Field, an amateur player from England said:
"Maybe they spent too much money on pretty girls walking about..." Maybe. Money well spent? Or would you have rather had a live stream to watch?

Approximate chip counts at the break, it's not 100% accurate, because I'm not allowed to touch the chips, and Elio is doing very serious TD things and he may destroy me if I get in his way!

Koops- 12.5mil

Gilboa- 7.5mil

Jacobsen- 5.9mil

Gran Kvam- 5.2mil

Palmier- 2.9mil

Alexandrov- 2.5mil

van Ravenswould- 1.8mil

Proust- 1.4mil

Play will restart in 6 minutes, and at that point, Elio will announce what he is doing with the blind structure.
Grimaldi busted while I was having a cigarette. He jammed from the button with J♦7♦and Koops called from the big blind with 9♥3♥

Board ran out: Q♦3♠3♣10♣K♥to send Grimaldi home with 13500 euros.

BoM2015: Monday 15:08

Play is rock solid on this final as we approach the first break.

I was chatting to Dirk from PokerListings, and we agreed that pressure and fear can play a big part in the style that players adopt.

I told him there is no way I'd be sitting there with 8BB, how ever brown my trousers were, and he said:

"Yes, well, it's so very easy from this side of the table, isn't it?", and I guess he's not wrong.

Elio is considering softening the blind structure, because the stacks in play are so short.
His plan, assuming there are no eliminations, therefore changing the av stack, he will repeat blind level 33, he does not believe the av stack should drop below 15 bigs.

I agree with him, but a couple of people here say that should not be done.
What do you think? Elio is the boss, but should he be allowed to change the structure, even if it is for the benefit of the game?
