The "River Queen" of Maxim.
Erin Ness learned the poker game in childhood days, especially when she and her brother were punished from their parents. During her studies, she was already playing in about 3 tournaments per week. After finishing school she moved to New York and began working for Maxim magazine. One day she received an email invitation for the company poker tournament with 1st prize - paid trip to the WSOP. She was already playing like a pro and to the surprise of all her colleagues she won. She made ITM at 207th place and became the 3rd best woman in the tournament. After this, Maxim dedicated an article called "River Queen".
