Jonathan Duhamel became the first Canadian to win the WSOP Main Event in 2010 and to bring home the most coveted trophy in poker. He then donated $100,000 of his 8.9 million dollar prize money to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.
In 2012, Duhamel famously made four final tables in one week at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, earning $1.2 million in PCA cashes that year.
A member of Team PokerStars Pro, Duhamel plays online with the screen name ‘johnduhamel’. In terms of live tournament earnings, he currently ranks second on the Canadian all-time money list and is 13th worldwide, with nearly $13 million in winnings.
