MMA is funny; I think JC would win matches in both BJJ and kickboxing match, but combine everything and he couldn't stop takedowns and GNP.
Liv wins via corner stoppage after round 3. Great job by both. Congrats @olivierbusquet
JC needs a finish to win, expect him to dive for some leglocks as that was his best chance so far this fight and he doesn't trust his hands.
Liv has really excellent ground and pound instincts. Knows when to power through subs, angles to hit shots from, how to stay busy.
JC so close to locking a few tight triangles, but between sweat and trying to grab submissions on and with gloves, just not gonna happen.
Really impressed with JC's kicks and Liv's takedowns. Liv has an incredible shot for a short period of training and no wrestling background.
JC not using hands enough, so Liv free to tee off on feet. And large athletic gap allows him to dominate wrestling and avoid traps on ground
Was wrong, great fight so far. Liv at a significant cardio/speed/striking technique disadvantage, but maximizing what he is great at.
Still no read on who is favored in this fight, but do not expect it to be competitive: will be a one sided beatdown in either direction.
