Suriano Raises Italian Flag at WSOP 2014 with Victory in Event 40

@Davide Suriano raised the Italian flag at the poker olympics in Vegas on Sunday when he bested a field of 136 entrants (including such notables as @Daniel Negreanu @Erik Seidel @Dan Coleman and many others) in the  #wsop40 10K Heads Up No-Limit Hold'em. The first prize of $335,553 is by far the largest cash in Davide's career and interestingly enough his only other recorded live tournament victory also came in a heads-up NLHE event. 

Suriano has now added a seventh bracelet to Italy's WSOP trophies and becomes the sixth Italian player to have won the highly coveted prize. He also tops the Italian WSOP 2014 Earnings Ranking, where he is followed closely by @Mustapha Kanit with 3 ITM finishes for $301,651. Ranked third is Italy's only two-time bracelet winner (2006 and 2008), @Max Pescatori.  The 'Italian Pirate' has been doing well this summer with 3 cashes so far, just like the other two players in the Top 5: @Dario Sammartino and @Andrea Dato.
