advoghado32 [guess what I did]
What do you think I did? What would YOU have done?
I think that you think, that you want to get as much money in the pot as possible and will bet 3/4 pot.
In this situation we are only behind to 22, Its a possibility but I think we have to treat our hand as the nuts.
The 3 on the river is more than likely a good card as it I think it has just made the straight they were chasing.
But it is possible to be a negative card for us because if they have an overpair, they are likely to put us on the straight and be able to fold to bet that is to big.
I am definetly betting here, it is just a question of how much.
EKY has 3095 behind and there is 1550 in the pot. I would like to get all of EKYs money in there.
We could bet 3095 but I think EKY will think twice before calling a 2x pot size bet.
So I am going to opt to try and get him to make the decision to put the rest of his chips in.
I will bet half pot(775) hoping eky has hit his straight and decides to push over the top of us.
We should definetly get a call here from the straight.
We should get a call with a sigh from an overpair.
What we really want though is for him to think he has hit the straight and out drawn us and push all in.
I dont think its likely but its poker and anything can happen.
So heres hoping for the straight getting it in bad :)
And fingers crossed its not pocket 2s.
