[bug-technique] photo upload

when uploading photos, we can see a little symbol rolling for a few moments (to show it's uploading) but then it dissapears, so end of uploading is uncertain. it happened once (I was uploading 5 photos at a time, it took only 3 of them)

True we need to improve the overall upload system, make it more efficient, more understandable... big job, but it's on the list ;).
