The APAT European Amateur Team Championship format is as follows:-
Entry €440 per team; Capacity 16 Countries, 4 Players per Country
Day One (Thu 5th Dec)
12:00 Phase 1 - 5 x NLHE 8-handed STTs; 3k Stack, 30 min clock
18:00 Phase 2 - 5 x PLO 8-handed STTs; 3k Stack, 30 min clock
23:00 Phase 3 - 20 x HU Matches (1 per team member – 1 game); 3k Stack, 15 min clock (played to conclusion)
Day Two (Fri 6th Dec)
12:00 Phase 4 - 5 x NLHE 8-handed STTs; 3k Stack, 30 min clock
18:00 Phase 5 – 1 x NLHE 40-handed MTT; 10k Stack, 20 min clock (played to conclusion)
Points Scoring:
STTs – 1st-8pts, 2nd-6pts, 3rd-5pts, 4th-4pts, 5th-3pts, 6th-2pts, 7th-1pt, 8-0pts
HU – 1st=4pts; 2nd=0pts
MTT – 1st-20pts; 2nd-18pts; 3rd-16pts; 4th-15pts; 5th-14pts; 6th-13pts; 7th-12pts; 8th-11pts, 9th-10pts; 10th-9pts; 11th-8pts; 12th-7pts; 13th-6pts; 14th-5pts; 15th-4pts; 16th-3pts; 17th-2pts; 18th-1pt
Available Points:
Phase 1 - 5 x NLHE 8-handed STTs: Max Per Team = 23pts; Total = 145pts
Phase 2 - 5 x PLO 8-handed STTs Max Per Team = 23pts; Total = 145pts
Phase 3 - 20 x NLHE HU Matches Max Per Team = 16pts; Total = 80pts
Phase 4 - 5 x NLHE 8-handed STTs Max Per Team = 23pts; Total = 145pts
Phase 5 - 1 x NLHE 40-handed MTT Max Per Team = 69pts; Total = 174pts
The prize pool will be awarded 50% to the winners, 30% to second and 20% to third. In addition the top three teams will be awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.
The event will be followed by the APAT European Amateur Poker Championship for individuals over the following two days, with a buy in of €100 + €10 per player. Team players will be able to buy in directly at the Card Casino in Prague.
