HeroScore goes worldwide

HeroScore is off to a good start, how will it help the industry?

HeroScore goes worldwide, next stop Amsterdam.

Dear RankingHero friends,

Thanks to all the support we received in the last few weeks. “HeroScore” - RankingHero’s brand new social ranking - has been featured by most major poker press and many poker influencers, making us very proud. @Nicolas Levi will be in Amsterdam at the AAC, and @Pedro Canali will be in Vegas at the WSOP this July. We hope to see many of you there.

We believe the adoption of the HeroScore will lead to happier players and better retention throughout the industry. While traditional rankings measure up to 400,000 live tournament players the HeroScore can rank millions of players from their online username or facebook details. It provides them with social proof, which we believe is a fundamental need for poker players. Meanwhile since we launched it, RankingHero doubled its daily signups (>50 a day) and tripled its daily messages (>200 a day). This is an exciting time and we’re going to press on. During Amsterdam we will announce a major partnership with an industry leader that will take the HeroScore to the next level.

Again, thanks for your genuine support and believing in our goals. All the best in your ventures!

Regards
Nicolas Levi & Pedro Canali

RankingHero in the press
Changes in the top 10
Our international ranking evolved in two ways as users started to upvote their favorite contributors. Daniel Negreanu is now sitting in first position in front of both Phils. Meanwhile Dan Bilzerian was overtaken by Chris Moorman.
Localized rankings
As we grew we’ve added support for more countries, gathering more data and calculating the top 30 for most markets.

That's really cool, and awesome how the popularity is growing. I think a big thing is people just realising the benefits of it. I thought it was a neat idea, but until the 'gg vnh' competitions I hadn't realised how cool it was for live tournaments. You can pull up any main event and once you know the players on a final table for instance or when they are doing to the last 18 etc you can pull up the hero score for all those players and get to know them a bit, see what they've cashed see what they look like, and then maybe dive into their social feeds or google and find out a bit more about them. It's far more than just a great ranking tool I think it's a really cool tool for anyone that wants to explore and enjoy finding out about who's who in poker.

Great job Ranking Hero! Good luck in Amsterdam and WSOP with the future promotion

Thanks Skilful,

By 'gg vnh' competition you mean the social games we run with @Unibet.com @Bet365 @PokerListings Battle of Malta @William Hill etc?
Never heard it called this before :D

No  they are awesome, but i mean the 'who is going to win this wsop event' competition - like these

that was the first time i realised how fun and enjoyable it was to 'rail' a final table remotely, by having ranking hero at my fingertips it was made a lot more fun, to take a look at who was who in the later stages, i learnt about players i'd never heard of, because i could see how much they were up lifetime and check out if they had any social feeds, it made finding out about pro players i didn't know more enjoyable. :)

Awesome to have this feedback, rock on and thanks @Ina Rkh  !
