Gabriel Nassif Unstoppable at WSOP 2014

@Gabriel Nassif has been on an incredible run at #WSOP2014, hopping from one final table (#wsop33 ) to another (#wsop37 ) and now on the list of Day 1 survivors in #wsop41 - Dealer's Choice Six-Handed.

His elimination in the 8th place in Event 33 happened in a dramatic two-way all-in with @Vineet Pahuja  where Nassif held Q♦ J♠  and Vinny Pahuja, A♠ Q♥ .

Both players hit two pairs on the flop A♦ Q♠ J♣ , and ended up with a full house on the turn J♦  and river A♣ , respectively. Gabriel Nassif left in a hurry for his next final table in Event 37, and Vinny soon followed him out (he finished 7th in Event 33 and 57th in Event 37 :)

The very first tournament in which Gabriel played (and cashed!) at WSOP 2014 was also a Pot Limit Omaha and the fact that he made it to the final table in WSOP 37 only confirms his mastery of this poker variant. In the first event, Nassif finished 24th out of 1128 for $6,213.

Nassif eliminated in third place by the Event 37 winner, @Brandon Paster

The second time around, in WSOP 37 Pot Limit Omaha, he was third out of an equally impressive field of 967 and this time the prize was a substantial $102,373, which took him up to the second place in the French ranking by WSOP 2014 earnings:

Gabriel Nassif is one of the 95 players (of 419 entries) who will return to the Amazon Room on Day 2 of the WSOP 41 - Dealer's Choice Six-Handed. He will start 38th in chips and we'll keep our fingers crossed for him, as no doubt will his friends from the #MTGpoker team at the WSOP 2014 - bracelet winners @Justin Bonomo @Brock Parker and many others.

VGG Gabriel !
