Michael is one of the four Mizrachi brothers who famously all finished in the money in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. Michael made the November Nine that year, reaching fifth place, and also won the $50,000 Poker Players' Championship, where his older brother and poker mentor, Robert Mizrachi, finished 5th.   

Michael Mizrachi is known for his solid tournament play, earning him the nickname "The Grinder". Even though he did not win WSOP Player of the Year, 2010 was justly dubbed "The Year of the Grinder".

The Grinder's poker resume features 3 WSOP bracelets, 2 WPT titles, and $14.5 million in live tournament earnings. He is the cofounder of the Mizrachi Dealer Academy - the first online training site for poker dealers.
