Hi Guys, Until recently i worked as a machine operator in the decorative foils industry.Sadly that came to an end recently so i decided it was at the right time to take the plunge in having ago to play poker full time and try and substain an income from it.

I am 48yrs of age now and have been playing poker for 10yrs as a serious but leisure player, My daughter is now grown up with 2 children of her own so now with the unexpectled happening I decided the time was right and maybe my only chance at 48, I have got the full support of my wife and have put some money aside to cover my household committments for a few months until i find my feet.

Anyway enough of that, The journey has just began and couldnt have gone any better so to speak, I decided to play my online games at sky poker which included all the £500 plus bountys at a £5/£10 entrance, Dont feel comfortable at the moment to play the bigger events such as the £22/£55 unless i can qualify via a satalite. Sky doesnt allow huds of anykind which being an old timer also i felt confortable with, Nothing against them personally but an equal playing feild is what I prefer. A guy called Rob White makes the time spent at Sky poker alot more interesting by compiling all the results of the £500 plus bountys into a top 100 best player list from 10,500 players, His work is relentless in gathering this information plus lots lots more, Basically anyone on the top 100 list is a profitable player and all your stats are there at hand.

My goal for the first month was to try and play well enough to get on this list which i know is an acheivment in itself with the amount of volume needed to acheive the points.

So far this month which is not over yet I have acheived number 1 on the best newbee list of 2015 and entered the main top 100 best player list for this month at 25, Aslo entered on sky poker's hall of fame for september for taking down a main event, Profit im only going to do on a monthly basis but in the region of plus £1400 at the moment

Looking to the future i am going to get more involved with the events on ranking hero, Play some satalites to bigger live/onlie events, Thats me so far so all left to say is run good everyone : ) Mark Hill AKA Blackpuma age 13 and 3 quarters : )
