Ranking Hero SuperSat Update!

Last night  seen the Ranking Heros take centre stage for round 1 in their Battle to Malta. A game I was very much looking forward to. Things got off to a shaky start with me as i had raised with A8 got called by the BB. Flop was AA4.I got surprised when my opponent decided to bet flop, turn and  river. I was forced to fold as my slow play never paid off as the board ran out 4 spades I only had the 8 of spades and could not risk my tournament on the 1st hand.

I managed to chip up, double up and even put some people out before the first break where I had found myself leading the pack.

After the break is when I started to get problems. I had internet connection issues. I couldnt load Facebook,PokerStars or Betsafe. Eventually everything started working again after screaming and pulling some hair out. I thought everything was back to normal but what my hair didnt know was it was just about to get more pulled out.

We hae QQ Under the gun +1 we see that there is a limp before us. Now I hate limping and decide im going to go slightly higher than just a min raise so I raise 3x. Everyone folds around to the original limper who makes up the other 600. The flop is a dream for me no A no K but then the strangest thing happens. On a rainbow flop of 3 5 8 the villian decides to open shuv. Well you can imagine me when I see all their chips going into the middle.

I call very quickly to see that the villian has shipped their stack in with bottom pair. Im delighted to say the least. That is until he/she catches running spades to make the nut flush. I couldnt believe it. I was left with 5 big blinds and so close to the final table.

Anyway I wasn't out I was still in with a fighting chance. I gave it my everything and made it to the Final table. I did all i could but eventually went out in 5th. On the upside I will be playing tonight in the BOM Daily final as I won a ticket for final tabling. For now I will Battle on.
