10♥J♥Q♥K♥A♥ #UnibetRoyalFlush 10♠J♠Q♠K♠A♠

Flopping a Royal Flush is 1 of the rarest things to happen in any type of poker game. The odds of doing so is roughly 649,740/1 so when this happens to you. How would you go about extracting value?. This has never happened to me but I will give as much of a detailed answer that I can.

you flop a Royal Flush close to the bubble at the Unibet Open Glasgow. What would you do?

1st of all you have to be able to control your emotion at the table certainly when playing in such a high buy in tournament there is a very high chance that you're going to be playing against professionals that know alot about body language. Depending on how the action has went pre flop will depend on how you would play it post flop so the only way to explain it is by explaining diffent scenarios.

Scenario 1 : We have A♦K♦on the button . With the blinds at 2000/4000 (400) and our stack is 50 big blinds deep (200k). We get a raise from mid position. 100% of the time from the button we should be 3-betting to roughly 20,000. The original raiser decides to peel a flop out of position. The flop comes down 10♦J♦Q♦. We just flopped a royal flush in a 3 bet pot!!!. I would elect to c-bet on this flop as you would any other time in a 3bet pot. What we are hoping for is that our opponent has something in order to continue. for eg Q♠Q♣,J♥J♣,10♥10♣.I think it looks more suspect if we are checking a very wet flop. In the dream spot with the hands in the example the opponent elects to get their chips in drawing dead and we scoop a massive pot putting us in a very comfortable position heading into the payouts.

Scenario 2. We have a short stack only 10 BB. We pick up A♥Q♥a very beautiful hand at the right time. We put our stack in the middle knowing that at this stage of the tournament we are going to be up against either something that we crush or something that is crushing us. It gets to the BB who snap calls and shows K♦K♣... As we get down to our knees and join our hands together gazing up to the sky and asking the poker gods for some help. We hear the annoucement that we are going to the flop. The dealer swiftly puts down the first 3 of 5 community cards on the board. When we hear everyone saying WOW!!, we open our eyes dust off the dirt from our knees to see that we just got a flop of 10♥J♥K♥.. With a fist pump in the air and a minion dance later we survive the bubble
