Another week , Another Mission #OOPS365 #Part1
You are at the Venetian, Macao, playing a 200$-400$ game.
You’re surrounded by rich and rather unfunny Chinese businessmen. And honestly, it’s a bit scary.
What a relief when you suddenly catch a glimpse of a familiar face across the room: your friend, Ray.
You don’t pay attention to the dealer giving you the cards while you’re on the Button. You don’t even follow the action when a ninja in early position opens 3 BB. A samurai in middle position calls.
You just shout “Hey Ray!” to your friend.
“Raise, how much Sir?” says the dealer with a strong Chinese accent.
You try to explain that no, you didn’t raise. You were just calling a friend… but you realize that the ninja and the samuraï are staring at you, with a sardonic smile.
The dealer looks at them, then at you: “You said you raise. Too late Sir” he says, looking sorry for you.
You look at your cards and see 7♥5♥.
You try hard not to moan out loud… And your consternation becomes even deeper when you realize that the man you saw passing by… was not even Ray...
You have no choice. You must bet.
You have 90 BB. You opponents have a bit more than you.
We have 36,000$ in front of us and it has already been raised to 1,200$ before it is our turn to act. 7♥5♥in this situation is not the worst hand to look down at. We are being held to a raise but this does not mean it has to be big. The initial raise is 800$ more than the big blind so we can raise the minimum of another 800$ to 2,000$ this meaning that we are only comitting 5 big blinds from our 90 bb stack and can easily get away from a bigger raise.
Imagine you’re in Malta playing the 2015 PokerListings Battle of Malta. Lucky you!
You are close to the bubble.
The blinds are 1,000/2,000/200.
Everyone folds to the player in middle position. He’s an aggressive Swedish pro, with 136,250 chips, and he raises to 5,000. Two hands earlier, the villain lost 20% of his stack on a bluff on the river.
You’re on the button with K♥K♦ and a stack of 130,500.
You decide to 3-bet 12,000 chips.
The small blind and the big blind both fold.
Villain calls.
The pot is now 28,800 chips.
The dealer reveals Q♠K♠7♠.
Villain bets 12,000.
The action is back on you. You now have a 118,500 stack.
You raise his bet to 28,000 chips.
Villain decides to call.
The turn card is 3♠
Villain checks.
The pot is 84,800. You have a 90,500 stack
On villain’s check on the turn, you bet 24,000 chips.
And, once again, he calls.
The river is the 2♥.
The pot is now 132,800.
Villain decides to push all his stack in.
He covers you by 6,000 chips.
A. I would simply elect to fold here not due to the money but more because even just the 2 of spades beats us here. I have always said "never to be blinded by your own hand". These sick run outs happen in poker and sometimes we are forced to fold. This being the prime example. We still have plenty of chips behind to spin it back up and we can survive the bubble comfortably.

A: I think as we have just over a pot size bet behind checking here would be the best option. We dont want to be check raised comitting our stack when the villian could be potentially holding the nuts at this stage. With us having the option for a free card. I think we should take it.
Please hit the like button ladies and gentlemen :D

A. In every pot that you 3-bet you should be c-betting the majority of the time. We see that although we have flopped top set the board is still very draw heavy. Therefore with the call from the villain pre flop we should be c-betting higher than usual. When the villian decides to lead for 12,000. It signals to me that he is on some sort of draw therefore I think it is the perfect opportunity to raise. With the pot being 28,800 I would lean towards a bigger raise than usual and raising to 32,000. Leaves us with 86,500. If the villian calls then it is setting us up for getting a full double up on later streets.

I'd recommend against having a 100% cbet in 3b pots, but just letting you know, we can't cbet when villian has donkbet

fixed mate thanks didnt notice that the villian is absolutely mental lol.
