The Ace High Poker Group Meet Up took place over 3 days 23rd-25th October. I was ready for a funfilled weekend. We would play in 3 different card rooms over the 3 days. This included the Grosvenor Casino Merchant City, The Genting Casino and the Alea Casino. There where people from across the UK playing. It really was an amazing event to be a part of.

Day 1 : We meet up at the Grosvenor Casino in Merchant City Glasgow at 7pm. This would give us time to get introduced to one another before the game started. I met alot of people from the group. People I had been speaking to online for months but not yet met face to face. The game kicked off at 8pm and was a £25+£4 buy in £1000 guaranteed with an optional £15 top up. If you took all your chips this woud give you 33k with the blinds starting at 25/50. I chose to take the lot which seemed to work out as I finished 4th overall for a total of £190.

Day 2 : We meet up again at the Genting Casino. This time there was not as many people as the previous night as alot of them got too drunk and was unable to attend as the felt a little worse for wear lol. Anyway the game was £20+£5 £1000 guaranteed. Unfortunatley I did not manage to place in the money in this tournament but did however play a 50p/50p cash game for 4 hours and finished with an overall profit of £180.

Day 3 : The Final Day would take place in the Alea Casino. This game was one that the Ace High Poker Group had put together ourselves. It woud be a £20+£3 buy in no guarantee as it was just for fun. Surprisingly it went very well and we got roughly 30 players with a couple of people using their 1 re-entry. I was the eventual winner of this tournament winning £300 + Ace High Poker Group trophy. The full weekend was amazing but things for me did not finish there. I left the Alea casino when th tournament was finished and we had said our goodbyes to rush back over to the Merchant city Grosvenor before late registration for their tournament had finished. It was a total of £44 buy in when taking the optional top up. I only went on to win that aswell. Collecting £480.

With the weekend over and everyone returning to their homes and to work. For me poker is a daily enjoyment so once I had been home at 5am on the Monday morning I rested and went back out to play again. 4 days straight of live poker was amazing and very tiring but my love for the game is what drives me to play. 

Monday Game Alea Casino : This tournament is a £1500 Guaranteed £20+£3+£10 buy in which usually fetches a total of 100 entries including reentries. The prizepool made roughly 2.8k with 10 places paid. I made it to the top 4 at 4.45am and decided to do a 4 way chop which made me £500. The past few days in poker terms have been amazing for me and a few others I know and I would just like to thank all that attended and made it possible. Tonight will see me go play live again and try and continue the run good I have at the moment.
