Dear friends,

Since the beginning of RankingHero, our vision is that every poker player is a hero. From small bloggers to Hall of famers, we've welcomed everyone with open arms on our social platform. Today, after eighteen months on the market and two-digit monthly growth, we're ready to unveil our biggest feature yet: HeroScore.

What is HeroScore?

HeroScore is a ranking like no other, because heroes are about more than money. We are proud to bring to the industry the first three-dimensional ranking that accurately assesses the results, popularity, and contribution of poker players. Using aggregated public data, it employs sophisticated algorithms to calculate overall influence & prestige.

In this ranking, online and live players are treated as equals.
In this ranking everyone finds their rightful place: poker greats, dedicated fans and industry wizards.

It's simple, and it changes everything. With one click, members of the community can upvote any achievement to give it more value. During our weeks of beta, we were delighted to see dark horses move up the rankings as our members upvoted them for what they have done. In the end, HeroScore will be what the community makes of it. It is the only poker ranking that keeps improving over time.

How does it work?

#HeroScore  is the first composite ranking in poker:based on objective data and community input.

The results dimension is based on lifetime results, live & online. If your online screen names are not already in our database, you can simply add them in your settings page to get the points you deserve. No favoritism towards online or live players, it's all under one banner with the HeroScore.

The popularity dimension is dependent on someone's following. We use public data from social networks, poker communities and other indicators to measure which poker players are most noticed around the world.

The contribution dimension focuses on achievements in poker beyond playing. There are many ways to contribute: publishing strategy videos, working for a poker company, posting on poker forums, etc. Check out a player's 'about' page on Rankinghero to see the data we hold, update it or suggest changes and upvote the achievements that have impacted you positively.

So who’s at the top?

You will be surprised. Starting today, we will unveil the top 10 player by player. When you measure contribution and popularity some high-winning but discreet players go down (a lot) while some worthy contributors shoot up. The very best score above one million points and form the exclusive 7-digit club.

We need you

With HeroScore, RankingHero becomes the place for all players to see how they fare against their mates and idols and how they can better their impact on the community. It is a tool for influencers to better serve the industry. As an active member of the poker community, we're counting on you. Give us a hand, be it by relaying this message or suggesting improvements. We need you more than ever.

Stay tuned, as we announce the top 10 in reverse starting today.

If you can't wait to see it, contact us to get access to the beta. More answers in the FAQ

Best regards,

Nicolas & Pedro and all the team at RankingHero.com

Heroscore Countdown: Number 10, Michael Mizrachi

Our #HeroScore Number 10 has a year named after him!

‘The Grinder’ is one of the four Mizrachi brothers who famously all finished in the money in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event. Michael made the November Nine that year, reaching fifth place, and also won the $50,000 Poker Players' Championship. 2010 was justly dubbed "The Year of the Grinder".

@Michael Mizrachi's  poker resume features 3 WSOP bracelets, 2 WPT titles, and $14.5 million in live tournament earnings. The brothers started their careers in poker as dealers and Michael is the cofounder of the Mizrachi Dealer Academy - the first online training site of its kind.

Stay tuned as the Heroscore countdown continues! Who do you think is next?
