We are revealing step by step a real hand from 2008 EPT Sanremo. After each of our Mystery Hero’s moves, it will be up to you to choose the best course of action.
Sanremo 2008. It’s the end of Day 1 and the blinds are at 75/150. You are at your starting stack of 15,000 chips. Everyone passes to you on the button. The players in the blinds are two Italians - big-time gamblers, but hard to read.
Your starting hand: K♦ 3♥. You decide to raise to 300 and the small blind, with a stack of 11,000, calls. The pot is now 750.
The Flop is Q♠ 9♥ 3♦, villain checks.
Round 2:
Hero bets 400.
Opponent snap calls.
The Turn is 6♥, half-hearted check by villain.
Post your answers in the comments below before Monday, Dec 15th, 11:00 GMT, when our Hero’s next move will be revealed!

i will check back, i have point but very low power, any better news from turn, otherwise villain can found 6 with Ax hands, the donk bet on flop was very little aggressive and i do it to have free card after maybe arrive to showdown in check-check is good for me, my point can be good against Aj/At , if he have a medium pair or higher he had bet now to try take the pot, so or he is without any point maybe in straight draw with j10, or he is monster and is trying trapping us, so i check after thinkin long time. i want he think we wanna trap him to prepare eventually to a low action on river if not come of this river outs " A / K / 8 " as scary cards...i can think also to donk-bet turn half a pot but become too much investment on a trash hand n bottom pair. ( fold prelfop was not alloweed anyway was my action Ndr )

I would check back. Pick up the free card.

with no folding equity whatsoever against this guy, we definetely have to check behind :)
there are some players who will level themselves into thinking than if you're 2nd barreling on the blank Turn then you must have something - but he is not the type hyhy :)
i have a funny feeling that River is a King :D
probably K of hearts as well hyhyhyhy

well i would take a shot at shutting the pot down now rather than on turn or river i would bet 900 and hope everyone folded and if not we still have the turn an river to improve .an to make a move depending if we improve or not

I would raise 3/4 of pot, because villain only call and he range could be J10 of hearts, J10o, or K9 , we can bet here to make it fold his pair of nines. I would fire here, because our opponet seems calling station

Once again we have to put villain on a range of hands for calling our flop bet, although we expected him to c/r alot of draws these are still possible along with any pair and Ace highs so it looks like this- TT-22,AJs-A2s,K9s+,Q7s+,J8s+,T8s+,98s,AJo-A5o,K9o+,Q9o+,J9o+,T9o So we can see his range has hardly changed.
We now have less than 46% equity vs this range although i expect we have fold equity vs his lower pairs and he prob folds bare Ax hands. So although this bet is prob EV+ if we knew for sure he would fold 22,44,55,77,88,Ax(non paired) we A) dont know he for sure will fold these hands B) dont know how often he turns random hands into bluffs and C) we are just building a bigger pot for him to donk into us on the river.
Also by betting again we arent value betting we are bluffing. Why is that important? Well we are running a multi street bluff vs an unpredictable gambler which is for sure -EV.
So to conclude, we have a marginal hand with showdown value and by nature we just want to get to showdown. I check behind here as betting achieves nothing, once again with the thought of calling certain river bets depending on texture and sizing.
