I choose check/call.

I dont think he has a good hand to just call a raise. With set or 2 pairs he would for almost sure bet on turn.

He can have weak combination or missed flush draw => that will fold to raise.

He can have same or better straight => we are tied or doomed. Better to call his raise, then a re-raise shove.

With check, we can represent missed flush draw and catch a bluff.

So its a check/call and hope he doesnt have KJ. I dont think it would be good to fold to any raise of his, there is just too many possible bluffs and too little "KJ".
